BIS4 SERVER CONCEPT
Bio ID Technology provides solutions for a world in need of security.
Our current political climate has changed the nature of the way we
understand protection. Traditional approaches to identifying potential
threats to nations, governments, companies and individual lives now
require higher levels of sophisticated tools to combat unwanted
intrusion.
Identifying individuals via conventional systems, such as, photos,
passports, ID cards, security PIN's, and fingerprinting, is now
proving to be no longer effective. We provide solutions with Biometric
technology… Simply defined, Biometrics is the mapping of physical
characteristics, such as fingerprints, hands, eye retinas, and walk
patterns, to determine an individual access into secure regions, as
in, homes, offices, computers, or airports that require specific
authentication.
BIS 4 Server
BIS4 biometric identification server is designed for integration into
transaction systems. mission critical application and/or network
environments requiring high performance biometric identification. The
server software accepts captured biometric samples from a compatible
biometric camera, such as the BioCam. The server's software has two
major elements.
1) a data components which stores biometric template records and other
related data
2) a processing engine that enrolls records and performs real time
matching.
The server enrolls the template images into the database and stores
personal information into its database or optionally establishing
links to integrate with legacy applications. During recognition the
server accepts a biometric sample eg: iris images and performs a
high-speed real time exhaustive search to match the unique template
and return related information.
When a match is found, a unique biometric identification Number (BIN)
is provided that relates to all other information recorded in the
database. The biometric system is architect too easily link to legacy
applications or a newly developed applications without the of redesign
or re architect the application.
